Mayor William T. Martin invites all citizens, elected officials, and members of the press to join him and the city council on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 9:00 a.m to celebrate the completion of the all-access playground at Tydings Park.
Since taking office in 2015, the Martin administration has prioritized the conceptualization and installation of modern and ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant playground equipment at Tydings Park. Yesterday  afternoon Mayor Martin welcomed Christophe Buzzacaro a representative from the city of Le Havre, France and presented him a tour of our city.
During the tour, the two men exchanged greetings and gifts from the Mayor of Le Havre and Havre de Grace.
The City of Havre de Grace would like to thank Mr. Buzzacaro and the City of Le Havre for their generosity today and look forward to working with them in the future. The City of Havre de Grace announced today it has installed its 7th Little Free Library at K9 Cody Dog Park located behind the Community Center at 100 Lagaret Ln.
The newest Little Free Library resembling a dog house was constructed by Council Member David Martin and painted by local artist Brittany Watson.
