Havre de Grace Office of Tourism Mission Statement

To market, promote and develop Havre de Grace as a premium visitor destination
To produce business for industry stakeholders and provide cooperative marketing activities
In cooperation with Economic Development facilitate economic and social growth for the region
To continue ongoing partnerships with tourism industry focused groups including Regional Tourism, Chamber of Commerce, Main Street Organization, and community organizations

Operate and manage the City's Visitor Center
Develop and maintain a tourism marketing plan and related strategies
Serve as the central clearinghouse (including an interactive website) to disseminate information regarding special events, press releases, and promotional materials
Maintain a volunteer database to assure staffing at the visitors center
Maintain a visitor information database to measure marketing program effectiveness
Promote the City's tourist attractions via public relations networks and cost-effective outreach campaigns
