a. Budget Transfer: Amendment #2009-6: (Presented by: Councilmembers Miller and Ferguson) "To date, the billing for fiscal 2009 real property taxes is approximately $548,000 more than expected by the original budget. By resolution, $0.02 per $100 of assessable base is to be allotted to the Susquehanna Hose Company, and $0.006 per $100 to the Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps. This budget amendment includes an increase in contributions to these

b. (Cont'd) organizations totaling $17,400 and $5,300 respectively. After considering the mandatory allotments, $525,300 in additional funding is available for additional projects. After deliberation with the Department Directors, the Mayor and his Administration determined that the following three (3) projects should be prioritized and funded with $427,400 of the additional funds:1) replacement of the fuel tanks at the vehicle shop(est.$223,100);

c. (Cont'd) 2) replacement of the Street Sweeper (est. $185,400); and 3) remediation of ground contamination at the Visitor Center (est. $18,900). Additionally, this budget amendment requests the reallocation of $217,600 in excess funding from the Solids Handling Facility project to fund the cleaning and lining of the water main on Revolution Street from Juniata to Old Bay Lane, and the water main on Webb Lane."
