Ordinance for Second Reading - Ordinance #900 (Presented by: Councilmember Martin) "An Ordinance by the Mayor and City Council pursuant to the authority of Article XI-E of the Maryland Constitution and Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland to amend certain terms of the current HdeG Code Chapter 25 Boards, Committees and Commissions, Article VI Tourism Advisory Board Section 25-36."
13. Unfinished Business/Old Business:
a. (Tabled from 10/06/08 Meeting) Budget Transfer: Amendment #2009-2: "After considering mandatory allotments, $440,400 in additional funding is available for projects deferred in the original budget process. After deliberation with the Department Directors, the Mayor and his Administration have determined that the following three (3) projects should be funded with the additional funds: 1) replacement of the Street Sweeper (est. $185,000),
b. 2) replacement of the fuel tanks at the vehicle shop (est. $175,000), and 3) replacement of the 2 1/2 ton dump truck (est. $80,000)." This Budget Amendment requests the organizations and projects to be funded as follows: HdeG Ambulance Corps (Acct.#01-5-1125-6290) -$2,800; Susquehanna Hose Co. (Acct.#01-5-1131-6290) - $9,300; Shop Fuel Tanks (Acct. #01-5-1092-6501)- $175,000; Street Sweeper (Acct. #01-5-1251-6501)- $185,000;
c. and Dump Truck (Acct. #01-5-1251-6501) - $80,000. (Presented by: Councilmember Ferguson)

a. Budget Amendment #2009-4: "The City was awarded a grant from Homeland Security to install security cameras and make other security improvements at the Police Station and in City Hall. The City will be reimbursed up to $20,000 without the need for any City match. The budget amendment seeks an increase in Police Patrol Capital Projects, Account #01-5-1112-6501. The funding for the project will be provided through an increase in budget through Mini
