Functions
- The Department of Public Works is made up of individuals who are committed to the maintenance and renewal of the city's infrastructure. You will see them daily around the community working to make sure the quality of life here is the best it can be.
- This department is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the physical properties of the City. This includes the City buildings, streets, sidewalks, curbs, trees, parks and the City Yacht Basin. In addition, this department is responsible for supplying the highest quality of water to our citizens and businesses, and in sufficient quantity to provide fire protection. This department also serves to collect waste water and trash and manage the construction of all capital projects.
